I think its best to know what YOU want. Weather it be a top or bottom. Because if you don't know what then how do you ( as partners) find true happiness and if there is no end game for happiness, what the hell are we doing here. Knowing what each one wants is what puts honor into this lifestyle. Other wise we would just be cruel to beat on and torture a subs most sacred intimate and most sensitive of body parts.

I know some have limits but in my mind, and in the minds of many, that a slave submits completely and a sub, I don't know how to say this and not sound rude or presumptuous, but subs submit when convenient. I understand wanting certain things in a Master because I had certain qualifications. But the vibe I got from her writing made me think she was perhaps a bit to forceful and independent to have a Master, perhaps a dominant man would be more her type. When I said I didn't think this lifestyle would fit her I meant being a slave. She may well be a perfect submissive. I would also like to say that I thought this was a safe place to share opinions and share the facets of our relationships with our Doms/Masters. So far my opinions have been squashed and men keep trying to "steal" me from my Master.

What may be a simple misunderstanding should not become wholesale insults and a prolonged discussion.
I like many O/others here see a slave as having no limits but understand that a sub does and therefore is this simply a misunderstanding of the terms?
I have had the fortune of training or leading one or two females in to this lifestyle and one of the earliest lessons is the understanding of the difference between the two terms....

A slave entrusts everything to its Master whereas a sub willingly submits to the wishes and desires of their Dominant. The wise Dominant remaining fully observant of their sub's limits if occasionally pushing against these.

Who the hell are you to say this may not be the lifestyle for her, who the hell are to judge....... just because you believe something doesn't make it true...... there are masters out there that like a girl who knows what she wants, there's a lot of slaves who know what they want and how they like to be treated, and a lot of slaves find that......... and that's not entirely true, true masters respect limits, they just don't take what they want, they may push limits depending on how fast a slave advances.....or if its an old slave who already has no limits...... but its the slave who chooses her limits, unless she chooses to give that to her master

To each their own. YOU might not have any wishes or ways of wanting things, but that doesn't mean those of us that do have any less right to be here or to call ourselves slaves.
I know I had a lot of things on my mental checklist that any dominant had to fit in to in order to be interesting for me, kinks that had to be shared and "vanilla" stuff. To say that you can't be a "true" slave if you have that is just... well... rude.
