NEED HELP LEARNING HOW TO TRUST AGAIN
I AM LOOKING FOR A MAN WHO IS WILLING TO HELP ME LEARN HOW TO TRUST A MAN AGAIN. I THOUGHT AFTER MY FIRST MARRAGE AND THE "SHIT" HE PUT ME THRU, IT TOOK ME 8 YEARS TO TRUST AGAIN, AND I JUST SPENT THE LAST YEAR
RECOVERING FROM HAVING STINTS PUT IN MY HEART AND RECOVERING FROM THE ABUSE, THAT RESULTED IN MY TRUSTING A MAN.
I WOULD REALLY LOVE TO FIND SOMEONE WHO CAN TEACH ME HOW TO TRUST AGAIN.
THE WALL HAS BEEN BUILT UP AROUND MY HEART AND MY FEELINGS AGAIN, AND IM BEING TOLD MY MY AUNT THAT I AM GOING TO DIE A LONELY, HEARTLESS BITCH.
I DONT WANT THAT, I WANT TO LEARN HOW TO TRUST AND HOW TO LOVE A MAN, BUT I AM SCARE, OF THE PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL, AND MENTAL ABUSE, EXPECIALLY AFTER WHAT I AM RECOVING FROM.

I second the positive thoughts of the two gentleman who'd written you, before me.
Life is about what we do in the moment. How we handle a given situation, along with how we grow internally. Accepting the reality, much less moving on from some of the damaging effects doesn't have to be a daunting challenge. We each have the ability within us to learn, to grow, to improve, to become more than we thought we could. There is a good/cool saying I like to share with people..... "Life isn't about discovering yourself.... life is about creating yourself". I got this a while back and have learned, many tiimes over, how profound and subtle this compelling thought is.
You will find that your capacity to give, to serve....... and to love again, is not diminished by your experiences. In fact, you will become even better.

It sounds like you've had a really rough time, emotionally and physically. It can take a long time to recover from having your trust violated, but it is possible and the payoff is worth it. Even though it might seem horrible at the moment, you will come out of recovery a wiser and likely more loving and lovable person than you were before this all happened.
