If a slave desires to be renamed then they should take a name that most fits their personality. as for registering what does it accomplish other than to brag to the world.

To address your questions:

1: Once a slave is registered, her name and Master can be changed any time. Her registry number stays the same. A slave's name is of her Master's choosing, and he can change it at any time for whatever reason. He could changer her name from sweetslave to spoiledbrat if he so chose.

2: Hypnosis can be a good thing. I can be used to help a slave through many problems and to enhance a relationship. It should never be used as a weapon by anyone on anyone. So yes, it is used, but should not be abused.

3: Yes, poetry is welcome always.

Renaming/Registering: Every relationship is different, do what works for your relationship. Yes, as pip said, it is up to the Dom, but the Dom needs to consider all factors before making a decision. I guess it also depends on where you are on the sub/slave continuium too.

Hypnosis: Personally, I'm not into the whole Stepford slave thing, and I also am a believer that you cannot hypnotise someone who really doesn;t want to be. That said, I see noththing wrong between willing participants who wish to use hypnosis to, say, help a sub over a particular issue (smoking, claustrophobia, etc.) if it would help the play, but not necessarily to turn her into a mindless slave. That said, if you can program in a trigger word to have her cum on command, that can be quite fun.

Renamed or registered slaves? Not sure on the renamed - prerogative of the Master I guess. I like my name, so would have a discussion before any renaming or Mastering occurred (I am malleable). As far as registration, I would think the only validation needed would be having a Master, no number or online anything required. Although I've talked with many with codes and such and they seem very proud. The next trend??? QR code tattoos??? I like QR codes, they're fun! Perhaps they'd really get distorted with age.... hmm.

Mind control. From what I know, it can only happen if you truly believe you can be hypnotized. I don't think I can, and perhaps it's not for everyone. A great fantasy and reality for some.
