Sex dolls...what the hell?
ImpishSub's picture

Alright so I know the topic isn't really bdsm oriented but I am drawing a blank and this came up in conversation yesterday. As some of you know I work in an adult store needless to say we sell toys. Some more extravagant then others for examples dolls that are worth 100s of dollars. Now don't get me wrong toys are great but the dolls I question some times. When a couple buys a doll I can understand the use...kinda more so then some single gut buying the doll. My question is how does the single guy use it. When you spend 400 bucks on a doll who has tattoos and changeable face expression and is opposable do you just take it home a have at her in the bedroom. Or do you buy it clothes and dinner first. AKWARD.... Anyways thinking logically how does one treat the object? is it an object or an object that is named and dear to you. Lol anyways that is my what the hell rant for the day random I know but my scienctific brain wants reasoning any offers?

Hope all are grand as usual

Nervous nightmares and delightful dreams

The amount you spend on one of these could fly a real cute live lady cross country.
Smiles girl is thinking way to much but you do have a very insightful mind

Re: Sex dolls...what the hell?

I have seen them used in Seattle so single guys can use the HOV lanes.

It's funny to look over and see an open O mouth as the guy drives by. lol

I loved the movie "Lars and the Real Girl". That sex doll was more active in the community than Lars was. Great off-beat move, by the way, if you've never seen it.

I've never had any direct experience with one, or even the parts of one. I'm just not interested in a sex partner unless she can squirm and beg and shudder in ecstasy.

Re: Sex dolls...what the hell?

thats exactly what it is.... when someone has aspergers it is near impossible to communicate to a real person, unless you get used to it by being forced to communicate.... which is what happened to me... my mom and dad always forced me to communicate with them, and with other family, and the teachers at my schools always tried to force me to communicate with others, because my parents always told them too, until i could do it myself and wanted to do it myself..... people would use dolls as outlets to express feeling and emotions they cant express towards anyone else, most people with asbergers prefer not to talk at all, with anyone, which i hated, my best friend had asbergers like me, and even though we were best friiends, he would rather talk to inanimate objects than me, he used stuffed bears, like when u get when your a kid, cuz that was the closest thing he had..... honestly though, sex dolls make no sence to me, i understand why people with asbergers would use sex dolls, there too afraid of people, theyd be way to uncomfortable in bed with someone, much less a relationship, yet the doll, actually looks like a human in a way, with facial features n everything.... but for normal people to buy sex dolls, seems fucking ridiculous to me

what the hell? yes. I think so. I'd rather be alone than try to play with some mannequin. I just don't get this either.

Re: Sex dolls...what the hell?

I never really understood the appeal of sex dolls. I find them rather creepy although marginally less so than some of the disembodied sex toys I've seen. Speaking in jest, it's one thing to play with a lifeless body, but another thing all together to play with a lifeless part of one: it means you're not just a necrophiliac, but you also chopped the body into convenient pieces.

If you think a few hundred dollars is extravagant for a sex doll, you should check out http://www.realdoll.com. Their models go for $5,000 plus.

Re: Sex dolls...what the hell?

The only experience I have with sex dolls is from an episode of "Boston Legal". A pretty much insanely great sitcom that never should have been cancelled.

Anyway, a lawyer with asperger's feels more comfortable with his sex doll that he treats as a real girl friend rather than confronting real women. I imagine it would be a comfort to always have an outlet that will listen, receive physical advances and always smile.

Something to give a hug to.

I have no answer for you on that but you do bring up some good conversation starters.
