Thanks for a great year. In January 2011 we will be moving to new and more powerful servers, and global content delivery system. Our goal is still to reach a maximum page load time of 1 second.

Last night we finally got varnish working So the complete Mercury (pressflow, memcache, apc, varnish, solr) setup is now running - BIG thanks to all that helped us..

On 26th october slavefarm suffered a major database fuckup (I did it) and the backup system from the hosting company failed and the site has been restored from an older database. This means that all activities from September 8th to October 26th HAS BEEN LOST. This mean EVERYTHING. If you signed up or uploaded material in this period, your stuff is gone. Please register and upload your material again. If you purchased a membership in this period, and you are unable to log in - please email webmistress@slavefarm.com with the details from your receipt.
