I was just ruminating on my pathetic little spells of depression. there are sooooo many self-pitying melodramatic tweenage girls in the US (I was one) acting as if the world revolved around their cosmetic depression. Well, one thing I discovered: it may be endorphins, it may go deeper, but corporal punishment/pain really brings me out of my depression. When I'm depressed, I feel like I'm alone, no one cares, I feel ugly, etc - all that teen angst bullshit I should've outgrown years ago. However, a sharp slap from a loved one/bf can do wonders.
