there's a song by The Dead Milkmen that i love, it goes, "I hate myself, hate myself, and you, i hate you. Drugs, i take drugs, and glue, i sniff glue". It's a funny song... the "i hate myself" part though. that's one of my mantras. it pops into my head whenever someone reminds me how worthless i am - which isn't hard to do. i thought i'd write a post about how the slapping thing started. i'm feeling like crap, and reminiscing/unloading the detritus of past shame and humiliation lightens my spirits...
