The fact remains that virtually 100% of normal,

adjusted heterosexual males actually in in stable

relationships with women DO have masochistic fantasies

even if most of them never choose to

experiment, which means that

of the male population in general,

the majority actually seeking fun in S/m recreation are

going to be "bottom candidates". With women,

there is NOT this widespread interest in the

sadomasochistic scene at all, but

the small percentage of women who DO seek fun in S/M

recreation are likely to prefer the dominatrix

role. This means that the dominatrix seeking

a male slave is going to be the easiest scene

in which two people can at least consider a

potential match, and it has always been.

In organized all-male S/M, the problem

of relatively few tops and even fewer

enjoying the punishment of other males has been

made easier to deal with by organizing a lot of  repubtable club "scenes"

in which males of every and all orientation seeking

to play can state the nature of being dominated which

turns them on and at least theoretically find someone to

please them at least for the one session. This does

NOT mean that AN"Y of these active bottoms would

make good SLAVES per se. In the honorable

and formal slave trade, the idea of

even honest and honorable males

applying to become 24/7 slaves by listing

themselves as anonymous e-mail posters

offering neither identification nor references

has never been a way to enter the REAL market,

albeit I am sure that the MAJORITY of the 

born-biological-males

who list this way mean well and are honest.

Some of us have made the same sort of comments in the past. Some have left and some have stayed . Speaking for myself , I'd like to see some form of real discussion start up again. Perhaps this thread might be the seed. 

 How about if we discuss How we started our intrests in this ..........For me it was the early sixties and the Gor novels  came out.. Bang! It wa like a light went on in my head.

It seems like part of the natural ebb and flow of the site.  Currently there seems to be a dearth of good D/s philosophy or discussion so the trawling seems more prevalent.   Unfortunately we seem to have lost most of the regular bloggers and there are very few actual discussions.

I must admit I generally just lurk, but even though I rarely say anything I appreciate the thought and the effort some people contribute to this community.
