But let´s get a bit organized.

Decoration,
of course the dungeon theme is a classic, but what about having some other rooms with different themes? cantine,BBQ, chinese, etc. Why not even a "vanilla" room where everything is allowed as long as not obvious (or invisible- the specaial treat woul be to have that section open to the general public...)?

Menu,
Food is fun! So why not make the food part of the fun? like spicy (hot) dishes (to be served "on" or "in" the sub) or "bring your own" dishes (like that well known sushi servings on a naked sub)?
Even the "free buffet" version could be served (for closed groups) e.g. for desserts.

Service / personell
As this would not be an "open to the general public" restaurant, an easy way to get (non-pro) personell would be to have the subs serve the tables before they & their masters have dinner themselves...

Having been to Alice's Resturant so many, many years ago; this new themed menu would have Alaskan King Crab claws on it to adorn the subs' nipples.

Just because I know nearly every word of Alice's Restaurant, I must post!!

First off, the final chorus does state, "you can get anything you want - 'xceptin' Alice"... so obviously, Arlo was protective of Alice, like a good Dom... so there is definitely some bdsm going on besides just getting what you want

Second, I read a story probably 10 years ago while I was going through an intense online corset fetish. It was quite long and detailed, but followed a woman that loved corsetry and then through her passion, found a place to work. A restaurant. It served excellent food, the catch, the patrons were charged less based on the circumference of their waist (less for less) and charged more for the smallest circumference waitresses (more for less).

So, In our restaurant, if your server was just wearing a ball gag and not drooling , .25 cents, if they were drooling, 1.00 dollar. If they drooled in your soup it was free. If they were only wearing pasties and ballet boots $25. If you, the patron was wearing all leather, 90% discount. If you, the patron was not wearing undies or a bra, your after dinner mint was free, but it had to be authenticated by the bus boy.

The decor?

Initial thoughts. Handcuff and posture collar rentals (kind of like at the roller rink, but without the stink).
Front of house, picnic table family dining for poly-households and couples alike. Cleverly positioned holes in the seats that rented or brought with you dildos and vibes make for a most pleasurable dining experience. The electrical engineers had their work cut out for them figuring out the loads for those devices.
For a seemingly more private option, two-way glass with the pedestrian traffic looking in on your curtained off booth can have the public viewing your date in any number of positions; only you and they know. He's getting what he wants, in the Alice's Restaurant tradition.
The most private is the exclusive Thanksgiving dinner that couldn't be beat. Of course she couldn't get up until the next morning, his choice. Luckily you didn't have to go to court, but the (27) 8 x 10 glossy photos were your souvenir.

The submissive restroom does not have toilet seats or toilet paper, also no belts or wallets, who needs money to well, spend in the restroom (this is a theme restaurant right?).

The food?

Pretty down home. The usual Thanksgiving fixings. Even a special "another Thanksgiving dinner that couldn't be beat" for subs, served in special bowls with no utensils, no hands and no leftovers. You order by the ounce and she eats til it's gone.

We all know the dump is closed, so each patron of the restaurant takes home a bit of fun if the Dom so desires. Whether it's to roll in the veggie trimmings or boil them down for an "after meal" at home.

Not sure about parking, but if you have a van with implements of destruction, then it's free!

unfortunately as most of us are living in different timezones or even continents, a common project is quite difficult to start, but let´s share ideas and concepts...

What would the Menu offer?

Are we talking about food, BDSM garnished or about BDSM with food on the side ?

Or maybe about taking the best of both worlds?
That would be my choice!
Let´s combine starters, main´s and dessert´s (or drink´s if someone has got an idea about them).
How would the dishes be served and what about the waitresses, shall we combine everything or keep it apart?

I had a couple of nice events some years ago, but the real thing as proposed in this thread never really got realised.

There's a restaurant by me that has different rooms, each with a different theme. i think that a set up like that would be nice-- just as everyone has different interests. A room set up like a dungeon is a must, of course. i'm picturing things like handcuffs as decorations, maybe even attached to certain chairs, and tables. i can picture that room perfectly, but its difficult for me to find the words to describe it (especially at 1:30am -- will have to come back to this when i'm more awake)
