traceing a ip adress isn't 100 100% shafe. with porgrams like jap anonymus browser , web tunnel the real ip adress is  hidden. i learned it the hard way i was scammed out of quatar.

You are right. It is not foolproof. 

But WHEN a IP address comes back as from Nigeria you KNOW whats up.

If it looks legit- meaning "s/he" claims to be from the Netherlands and the IP points to an Amsterdam ISP  this would give "her/him" a browniepoint.

 Also another thing you can look for.

When "s/he" tells you "s/he" send this mail from the office and another one "s/he" tells you "s/he" is at home and both originate from the same IP then you can suspect something is not 100% right.

Again this method is not 100% foolproof and when you are smart enough and know what are you doing you can fool even experts.

Hey, this is some good information, thanks.

The names are endless, the spelling worse then mine and the pure bullshit that flows from their letters is amazing and is why I still toy with them to this day :)  Again tonight looking on collarme for a moment, the sheer numbers of nigerian, ghana and other third-world countries which now include the phillipines is a bit of a concern as they are really flooding the airwaves.

The sad part about all of this is the volume of spam mail, scan mail and cons that want that American dollar (and Euro as well) and they see a very real opprotunity to steal it. Desperation, boredom and lonliness are what attract these people and make a faily good living at it since the laws in Africa and other countries are just now starting to touch on the problem but really nothing much is done since it's difficult to spend the resources to track these people down.

In the end and I am sorry to day this, be smart and really think about that person writing to you. Spend a few days on YOUR terms to see where it goes as about 95% of the "scams" will run off and not waste time while the people who are in fact looking for this life will continue the dialog.

(side note on profiles....ever since the change to this new and disasterous version 3, many of the old-timers (who could even make it back here to sign in) haven't spent time on profiles since the look and feel of this place has really died off).

sorry to hear this, Shadow, i think any honest person, especially who one wants to become some else slave, has at least the money to travel, or should be able to make arrangements by him or herself. And I guess any honest honest slave owner is also able to provide for a slave ones it has  arrived.

Interestingly enough, Master has had his fair share of these money scammers. After the first couple..he now just plays with them for his own amusement at his leisure.

We did watch a documentary of sorts not to long ago about these scammers mostly from Nigeria, and most were actually males posing as this or that..even as females.

While am sure these folks are doing a real dis-service to the sincere slaves from these area's..it really doesn't pay to get emotionally involved with hopes of it panning out. Protect your heart and your wallet if you feel the need to persue. If it's true..then it will work no matter how your approaching it.

to answer you quiethispanicgurl we are talking about fakes that want money. Most scamming coming out of africa. They approach you and ask if you would take them as your new slave you might even talk with them and when it all comes down to meeting they need money to come. If you where to e-mail me as ask to be my slave after a few e-mails and some im talking I would know you are a life style member. It when they come to you and flat out ask or even beg to be your slave that we are talking about.

Yes I've had the contacts from Russia and Africa, as well as Spain and the USA - all purporting to be wanna-be slaves. I work on the basis of them coming over - but not to pay anything. They all come out with ways and means to ask for money to be sent on. when they are supposed to send something, and I give them a postal address, nothing arrives. I usually string them along to see if they're genuine - they never are. Thry stop contacting me once they know they'll get nothing from me!

Oh... and I am wondering 'jayne' whether I'm one of those men you've categorised - I think we've been in contact?!

I feel obligated to let everyone here know who this poor excuse for a human being is: She goes by the name: Rose Little, her date of birth (at least what she told me) is: 6/20/84; the address she gave me is: 13 Duncan High Street, London, England E14 4JB I hope that this information will be read by many and passed on to others. We in this lifestyle do not need 'subhumans' such as this bitch to be attempting to make fools of those who are still trusting and honest and truthful by nature.

I would like to share my own experiencies regarding this issue, but currently I'm facing finnancial problems that prevent me from doing it.

This is terrible. People like that are just awful, that is no different to outright robbery! Recently I had a different experience but still one which was totally fake. The guy in question said he was a pilot and wanted to meet me on his stop offs in the UK about once a month every month a few days a time. He wasnt Dom, but I told him about my tastes and sent him pics and basically gave away alot of information about myself to him. I did think...this is too good to be true, a fit guy whos just what I'm after in looks, open to try anything and wants to have an 'arrangement' with me for my time. I never came up with any price, I didnt want to, I told him to instead, which he did, and I agreed on it and basically we chatted and sent quite a few emails. This went on for a few weeks and he said he would be in town next week....then a few days later he said the dates had changed...he told me the hotel he would be staying at and the date and the amount of time he would be there. He said we would meet for something to eat at the hotel and then go and 'have some fun in his room' as he put it. He said he could see alot of fun times ahead and he was looking forward to it, blah, blah, blah. The weekend before I hadnt heard from him and so I mailed and said please let me know 24hrs beforehand when youre going to want me and I'll need some details. Still nothing, next day, and day before he was sposed to arrive, I said I'd at least need a few hours notice and could he get back to me? My email came back to me!!! Monday came and went, Tuesday came and went, Wednesday, the final day of his so called stay...I mailed again to see what would happen....my email again came back to me....clearly he was some guy replying to my ad...one of the ones who had got offended by it and who I'd told where to go for his nasty insults. He kept up such a charade for weeks and it was very convincing...even when I told myself it probably wasnt true I hoped it would be...but I wasnt hugely disappointed when he turned out to be a fake, cos I knew deep down that nothing is ever that easy, and no one gets exactly what they want just like that. The internet is rife with scammers, its a sad fact of life unfortunately and it sucks!!!

Then there was one problem with a so called Dom Master....I had spoken to him on the phone, had many an email, msn chat also. We were set to meet and we did but it wasnt exactly what I was expecting but I liked him and it was a situation I was seriously considering with him as my proper Master. It involved contracts and all the lifestyle stuff that I am now not into. I was very nervous and apprehensive but at the same time thought I should give it a go and take the plunge and stop thinking of ways to say no. So I prepared myself for weeks to again meet him and see and sign these contracts and stages of my development that he wanted. I started to feel myself become extremely submissive, not just in a sexual way either, he had gotten into my head and I guess I let him too. I was all set to go and stay with him for a few days and start my training which could involve just about anything, alot of which scared me to death and wasnt anything to do with my tastes or anything I had ever really thought about before. Then when the day came.....nothing.....couldnt even get through to him. I left messages...nothing....he ignored me. Then some time later he said he'd gone to watch a match and it was more important and he couldnt miss it. But I soon found that after a few more emails his whole attitude had changed. I asked him a few questions about things and he accussed me of playing dumb and hassling him. I wasnt playing dumb, I was genuinely interested to know what 'exactly' was expected of me if I was to be his slave and move in with him properly, it was a MASSIVE step for me but I had finally gotten my head around it. Then he said my emails were doing his head in, just because I asked him once and for all to tell me if he wanted me or not? I think thats a fair question for such a big life change!!! He turned out to be a fake though, he just never bothered to contact me again after all the months we had put into it and all the mental preparation I'd done. I was really annoyed and upset about it.

I know these arent exactly examples like the ones that were started off on this thread, but they are still examples of people that con others online. Its such a massive waste of time and energy, I wish these people would just take a jump of a high cliff somewhere!

Oh, I had to laugh while reading this.  In fact when you started out I was thinking that you  was talking about an young girl named maria.  she from the UK as well. we talked and she wanted to come to be my slave.

This was after 2 days of talking. Told her sure, but she had to get here on her own that I was not going to send any money at all. She told me sure thing. that  her  uncle was an international business man and that he would give her the money to come here to be my slave. In fact he was looking for a slave his self.

Well it got to a point that she sent me her flight number and all.  I called the airlines the day that she sent it. and there was no such flight. ( so I am ahead of the game at this point)

Than, she to sent me an email saying that she needed so extra money and her uncle was out of country and if his business account was to send me a check for 5k. would I cash them and send her the money.  Sure why not.  Got the checks and you could see that they was wrote out by an child or a person with childish handwriting.

Strung her along until the say she was to fly here, in fact kept it going until an hour before her flight was to leave.  Then deleted her.

I had 2 other girls do me this way as well.  And again I have checked out their flight information the day I got it and all are fakes. To date, I have received about 50K. in fake checks. lol

This is not to say that all here are fakes, even those in Africa.  I have been talking with one from Africa for over a year now. Her name is jane_luv75.  And am very pleased not once in this time has she ever asked me for money.

On every web site you can get this!!!!! Most if not all are from africa so I delete all that come from their.

If you want to play a game back play along till its time to send money and then call there spam just what it is. I call them fakes and spammers and then report them to the site.

Thanks for sharing your experiences. The bottom line here is quite simpel. NEVER SEND MONEY I too have had, on occasion, a "slave" ask for cash. Glad this was not my first horse show. Thanks again.

Sorry to hear about your troubles, and thought I would add to this, but from a different website. I met a woman(who knows what it is) on a website called Horny Matches; user id "hellen30q". She claimed to be from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and was supposedly on a modelling assignment in Brazil. We chatted some over a couple of weeks on msn messenger. Couldn't wait to come back home and meet me, but was having troubles, though I could help speed her return if I would be willing to open a bank account for her back here at home. Anyways, I blocked and deleted her from my contact list, and reported her profile to that site, which emailed me back and said that they were investigating her profile and activities.

I just thought I would add this in case anyone on this site happens to belong to that other site and has had any contact with her. Again, sorry to hear about your troubles. 

Yeah samething happened to me a  while ago. She was a Russian girl from Ursk I believe. We talked, she told me stories of Russian men beating her up and just using her for sex. Being the guy that I am I felt sorry for her and told her how sorry I am. Well after a few emails she wanted to come see me and was going to buy a ticket and passport. Well guess what she didn't have enough and asked for some cash, through my personal bank.

At that point my haze dissapeared and I went looking on the internet for her, and found her email and name attached to a scamming site. So I guess the moral of the story is if you don't trust a email address you can always search for it on your web browser to see if its a scam or not. 

Here is a little trick to get a bit more assurance with whom you are talking.

Have "her" send you an email. Not IM.

All emails carry the originating IP address in their headers.

i.e. in Yahoo mail click on Full headers on the bottom of the page.

Now find the line Received: from [xx.xx.xx.xx]

xx.xx.xx.xx. is the IP address of the sending computer.

Use a IP lookup service to find out where the IP address is located.

i.e. http://www.maxmind.com/app/lookup_city

This way you will quickly find that Rose Little is not located in the UK but actually in Lagos Nigeria.

This method is not foolproof but gives you at least another layer to verify that what "she" claims "might" actually be true.
