Super Glue

My perverted subbie and I are talking about having her hands super glued palms to her hips for a few hours. It's not hard to find info on how to dissolve super glue on skin on the Internet.

I'm wondering about safety considerations. Any thoughts?

super glue
super glue was in the begining desind for medical applications to use as a quike way of closing cuts when a band aide woud not do adn other things. It was to be permant but a way was made to disalve it do to thouse that would superglue things to them selves. The glue is not the problem is the is desalver. Some do have reactions to it and it does peal away some skin

superglue

Solvent (acetone) dries skin and is greatly flammable.  It also cannot penetrate the superglue very far, so put down only enough glue to form a narrow strip after pressing together.  Never mind superglue if subbie is a struggler as there will be a tendency to tear the skin, not the bond.

Next biggest problem is the HCN emitted probably along with some acrylic acid vapor.  These are respiratory and eye irritants so you'll need good ventilation.

Worked like a charm
It took a whole wack of little tubes, but it worked like a charm. Subbie found it very frustrating spending the afternoon and evening like that.

Every person is different and what is not a problem for one may be for another.  The patch test ideas are your best bet and safest for all concerned.

superglue

superglue will turn loose from skin by itself in a coupla hours, as the skin sheds new layers and oils come up, but can tear skin if pulled too early, be careful.  As far as harming skin, I believe it is the same ingredients used in glue stitches by med proffessionals, but someone else may need to comment on this, i am not sure.

I have used on small cuts before, on myself, to mend skin with no ill effects

whatever you do make sure though that you do not use the super glue they sell for models, that is industrial strength and will burn anyone.

super glue
Solvent for super glue is acetone. Most finger nail polish removers contain enough of this to work. You can also purchase by the quart of gallon in the paint section of your hardware store. Reccomend both a skin patch test, and test solvent as well before playing with in a serious fashion, but ought to be ok. EMTs were using regular superglue for med purposes before the med grade stuff came out, so you ought to be ok. Have fun JBB

I was gonna suggest the kind made by band-aid for small cuts and scrapes, but that's meant to be more permanent so I'm not sure that would work out the way you'd like. The only thing I can suggest has already been suggested. Test the solvent you choose and the super glue in small quantities somewhere unnoticeable like her hip or the inside of her arm to be sure she won't have a reaction and that the solvent will actually dissolve the glue. Once you've done that, you might want to stick small things together (fingertips, toes, etc.) and test the solvent to make sure it's actually going to dissolve the glue when holding skin together.

Might test it without attaching it.  Might be a reaction to her skin to the chemicals.  Superglue won't work as long as air is in contact with it (as I recall), but you can put some in her palm and/or her other parts to try it first.  Just in case.
