SUGGESTION - regarding Home Page

I would like to see news of messages regarding Forums and messages regarding Voting on pictures separated. Personally, I don't look at the pictures very often (I have a huge collection of my own) but do look at the Forums.

I think the announcements about v.4 could be made in small type across the top until it is no longer necessary and thus another column made available for Forums and Voting.
