I dont see it as one wanting to sound authoritative really, but one just commenting in the heat of the moment how they feel about the picture and or blog, which usually contain a bit of their own experience or fantasy.

She even did a perfect match of an odd color of green elk skin to match the tails of one I had before I bought my first one from her. I wanted to use the pair as a Florentine set, and now do so.
I've never been able to tell the difference between the two - color, leather feel, handle, fall widths & thicknesses, etc. NOTHING is different!
She's great, her work's excellent, and her prices are reasonable.
