Smart Ass Answers

    SMART ASS ANSWER #6
It was mealtime during a flight on Hooters Airline.
"Would you like dinner?" the flight attendant asked
John, seated in front.
"What are my choices?" John asked.
"Yes or no," she replied.

SMART ASS ANSWER #5

A flight attendant was stationed at the departure
gate to check tickets.
As a man approached, she extended her hand for the
ticket and he opened
his trench coat and flashed her.
Without missing a beat, she said, "Sir, I need to see
your ticket, not your stub."

SMART ASS ANSWER #4

A lady was picking through the frozen turkeys at  a Tesco store but she couldn't find one big enough for her family.
She asked a stock boy, "Do these turkeys get any bigger?"
The stock boy replied, "No ma'am, they're dead."

SMART ASS ANSWER #3

The Policeman got out of his car and the kid who was stopped for speeding
rolled down his window.
"I've been waiting for you all day," the cop said.
The kid replied, "Yeah, well I got here as fast as I could."
When the Policeman finally stopped laughing, he sent the kid on his way
without a ticket.

SMART ASS ANSWER #2

A Lorry driver was driving along on the freeway.

A sign comes up that Reads, " Low Bridge Ahead."
Before he knows it, the bridge is right ahead of him and he gets stuck under the bridge. Cars are backed up for miles.
Finally, a police car comes up. The Police Man gets out of his car and walks to the lorry driver, puts his hands on his hips and says, "Got stuck, huh?"
The lorry driver says, "No, I was delivering this bridge and ran out of fuel."

SMART ASS ANSWER OF THE YEAR 2007

A college teacher reminds her class of tomorrow's final exam.
"Now class, I won't tolerate any excuses for you not being here tomorrow. I might consider a nuclear attack or a serious personal injury, illness, or a death in your immediate family, but that's it,
no other excuses whatsoever!"
A smart-ass guy in the back of the room raised his hand and asked, "What would you say if tomorrow I said I was suffering from complete and utter sexual exhaustion?"
The entire class is reduced to laughter and snickering.
When silence is restored, the teacher smiles knowingly at the student, shakes her head and sweetly says, "Well, I guess you'd have to write the exam with your other hand."

Venting

 Well worth reposting

Been on another site very close to how this site works. I feel loyalty here on the farm, but I’ve been feeling quite tempted to leave this site. Its not the people or the content here, although it gets boring on occasion when no one posts anything or any discussion for days. I’ve been on the farm since 2003, only actually registering in 2006..lol Yeah.. I was a lurker. But the problems I see have to do with the lack of working facilities. At the other site its like a cyber heaven, everything works and the webmaster actually is there twice a day, even commenting on blogs and forums topics. But here since last November change to V3, we now have no member list, no who’s online, no way to fix this blog if I error but to delete it thoroughly. The groups are mostly dead. You can’t see the messages you’ve sent PM, and it just feels like the webmaster/owner doesn‘t spend anytime here anymore… There is quite a few members who contribute to their favorites, IE; photo contest, bloggers, and forums posters. We were told that video chat was coming, and so as mods we share this info to members who have asked us about it. Well, seeing how its been since January, I really don’t think its coming. Its not the mods fault that most functions that are on other sites are not available here… But being the loyal farm member I feel I am, I will hang on and wait. Now I guess this sounds more like a venting out, but seriously, I’ve sort of made this my cyber first home.~Lillian~

Many Many good points.

I think Lillian you have hit the nail on the head here.

Ok V2 had problems, I will not be drawn into that debate. But The change over was badly handled and The Farm lost a lot off good members. The loyal ones stayed on waiting for promised inprovemnets.

We Wait Still.

The site gives a lot off peaple enjoyment, but alas it also gives the impression off not being cared for. Some one asked me if the site was a hobby site for the regular members, all doing a little bit.

I know it takes a lot off hard work to run a site, with lots off unsung heros in the background. Come on Webmaster pull your finger out. If you need help to run the site seak it or ask for it. I am sure in here are the expertise we need to run the site with you.

We have missing post, lost pictures, lack off ongoing improvements, The site can and should grow.

I am willing to bet there are alot off folks out there, like Lillian, who have made The Farm a "Cyber Home".

We have a chance to get this site back to afantastic site to be a member.

Changes are not allways good, but sometimes changes have to be made. So lets here the bad points and the good points here. Post them  Tell Everyone you points and lets see if we can change for the better.

I totally agree. I cant count the number of times we have been told this is being addressed or will be changed or that is coming. I have on more then one occasion sent e mail to web master/mistress addressing a subjuct and asking for feed back only to be ignored.  It is VERY frustrating to feel like you just are not importand to the site. I also have been here for some time and have of late been considering doing some surfing to check out other sites. But, like you I do feel a certin loyalty to the farm. However, that loyalty only goes sooooooo far. I do hope the web master will take notice and address these issues or consider perhaps selling the site to someone who actually cares.

If you could post this other site, that would be helpful to me as I like all of you have waiting for the proposed changes that have been addressed and still find nothing repaired, added or removed.

I'll more then likely always keep my profile here and hope most of my posts and responses stay, but I as well have seen little excitement in the staff to keep people, invite new people and make this a place for all to come and share their thoughts.

As always, I can be found here, collarme and on yahoo.

It's kind of funny, I was just spouting off to Master about this. My biggest problem is all the other places I'm allowed to go... okay the one other place I'm allowed to go... the community is, in a word, snarky. I've long since given up finding "kindred spirits" there. They just don't "get it", I guess. Blah.

What she said!

Really, v.2 was infested with the Africans trying to con a buck from the Auction, but that was the worst thing about v.2 - and could have been eliminated by eliminating the Auction. 'Sides, it was amusing in its own way.

v.3 has promise, but you can't even have a copy of the e-mail you've just sent. I suppose I could fix the problems, but I'd have to get money for it. Which is probably why the problems aren't being fixed, as I don't see the owner making a serious income from this.

Yet, it has become one of the -no, the liveliest sites on the 'Net.  I guess that is a reflection on the status of  bdsm online. Maybe it would be worth taking a look at the newsgroups again.

To be honest, the lack of the who's-online-list is the best feature of SF, considering the fox hunts elsewhere. Though the PM-system is really poor here and seems not to be perfectly reliable.
