The Yellow Ardvarks view on politics

The Yellow Ardvarks ViewOn Politics. The Yellow Ardvarks of View on the Election race.

We, over the water and other places, cannot figure out why people are even bothering to hold an election in the United States.
On one side, you have a woman who is a lawyer, married to a lawyer, running against a lawyer who is married to a woman who is a lawyer.
On the other side, you have a war hero married to a good-looking woman who owns a beer distributorship.

What are you thinking over there?'

Hi Yellow Aardvark, We aren't happy with the choices were stuck with either! But don't blame us as a collective. People tend to think we're able with a snap of fingers to make sweeping changes in our elected officials...but we can't! Our rights, our ability to criticize, public and private has evaporated. We became not only the victims of big business interests, but also a skewed and twisted ideology of right and wrong. I can't place all the blame on religious fundamentalism, but its at the core of this problem. Which is also exacerbated by...apathy, fear and pervasive hopelessness about being able to make any change or protest. We are aware that the international community no longer looks to our leaders for direction or with any respect, as well they shouldn't! Shamefully...we've abandoned the international standard for human rights and treaties signed in good faith with allies. Some of us...Aardvark, still have a conscience and still feel shame! My personal only available source of news and information that is not controlled directly by my government is the BBC, world news. But I know I get an edited version, sanitized to a large degree, but still shows some of what we are doing abroad. Even the internet isn't safe to surf here...looking for news! I'm just one person...and I know! Urge your P.M...not to enter into any agreements or pacts with us! Shun our leaders from conferences and sanction us! Urge them to use the power of the U.N. against us! This is the only way I can see to bring power to bear on the regime here. I feel like the wayward child...now in trouble and calling home for bail money! I think my friends all feel the same way...we're struggling to maintain. I just had to answer your question...we're not stupid or blind...we're just out of answers and lost. Take Care...Ash

Thank you.

Not Just to Ash, but to the rest off you you have replied.

The statement was  ment to be a light hearted look at whatw as going on, by myself as an outside person looking on.

I am 1 person on teh planet  who has noticed things. If 1 can noticed so can others. I will not take sides. Nor will I had  my views.

But I would be inerested to see what otehsr think.

Personally, I think I'm going to vote for Jerome howard, for those of you who don't know, he is curly from the three stooges, hell he can't be any worse than the last three we have had. And just think, Moe could be secratary of state, and Larry could be the vice president.....Makes sense don't it.
